My pc don't see any storage in My Computer. My friend formatted his nuvi 255w and ask me to help him. to re-open this old thred, but it seems this is the only forum that solved this 'issue'! I also have maps on a SD card, but they are from 2008 and pretty much useless without voice and vehicles.Īm I totally screwed or is there any way I can be saved? Is this right - or is there some software I can download? Bearing in mind it will need to be placed on the SD card first, as I cant mount the unit to the Mac. I spoke to Garmin and they said thet voices & vehicles need to be on the main unit not sd card, and that I would need to send it off to them to fix. Panicking a little, I tried to connect the unit to the Mac and it wont connect, I guess I must of deleted the bit that makes the Mac recognise the Garmin.
